Gue-sung Jo

Player profile:
- Nationality: South Korean
- Age: 22
- Date of birth: 25/01/1997
- Current Club: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Career: FC Anyang (Y), Gwangju University, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Position: Striker
- Preferred foot: Right
Gue-sung Jo played as a striker and made an okay impression in this match. He played with great intensity, always putting pressure on the defensive line when it is needed. Also, the South Korean striker was very active in transition. He liked to put his body between the ball and the opponent, but this succeeded only a few times as he got pushed off the ball easily at times.
The striker made some good runs, but I think he could be more actively trying to get into space in the final third, especially in the box. At times, he dropped a bit deeper to support the build-up and even though he was a bit sloppy in his short passing, he showed that he has decent ball control and an okay first touch.
He kept composed in the final third when he was on the ball and managed to find his teammates well in the tight spaces, using his decent ball control. Gue-sung Jo got subbed off after just 60 minutes.A promising performance by the 22-year-old.
Rating: A2
Murilo Henrique
Player profile:
- Nationality: Brazilian
- Age: 25
- Date of birth: 20/11/1994
- Current Club: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Career: Goiás Esporte Clube, AA Aparecidense (L), Clube Atlético Linense, Associação Atlética Ponte Preta, Clube Atlético Linense, Grêmio Novorizontino (L), Botafogo Futebol Clube (L), Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Position: Attacking Midfielder
- Secondary position: Left Wing
- Preferred foot: Right
The Brazilian played as a left winger and made a very good impression. He liked to cut inside to his stronger right foot and looked to take a shot or to combine with Gue-sung Jo, which occasionally worked very well. Murilo Henrique always looked very threatening and his creativity helped Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors to create some chances.
Murilo Henrique sometimes dropped deeper which attracted the right-back to follow him which helped the left central midfielder to move into space on the left wing. The Brazilian had a good dribble, being able to get past a few opponents in the tight spaces using his good bursts of speed, changes of direction and ball control.
When the 25-year-old was dribbling, he always looked over the ball, assessing his passing options. This helped him to link up with his teammates, like Gue-sung Jo, and got him in good positions to shoot on target. His shot was decent, but it often got blocked. He made a good impact on the game and I think that it was a bit harsh to sub him off after just 60 minutes. Henrique seems like a strong player at the current level.
Rating: B1
Beom-keun Song

Player profile:
- Nationality: South Korean
- Age: 22
- Date of birth: 15/10/1997
- Current Club: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Career: Suwon Bluewings (Y), Sangju Sangmu (Y), Korea University, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Position: Goalkeeper
- Preferred foot: Right
The 22-year-old goalkeeper did not have much to do and there was only one shot on target for Suwon Bluewings. On the ball, he seemed comfortable and he liked to distribute it to one of the central defenders.
Rating: B1
Need to rewatch him.
Takahiro Kunimoto
Player profile:
- Nationality: Japanese
- Age: 22
- Date of birth: 08/10/1997
- Current Club: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Career: Urawa Red Diamonds (Y), Avispa Fukuoka, Gyeongnam FC, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
- Position: central midfielder
- Preferred foot: left
The Japanese midfielder got subbed on after 60 minutes and managed to make a good impression. He showed good ball control and seemed like a smart player in the short period he played. Kunimoto liked to carry the ball, keeping the ball very close to his feet, showing an elegant style of dribbling in which he could switch directions at every moment.
He liked to combine with his teammates in the tight spaces and sped up the build-up by doing this. He linked-up with his teammates very well and showed some good movements in the final third. Kunimoto has a good technique, but he occasionally was sloppy in possession, giving the ball away on his own half.
Rating: A2
Based on this very short period, Kunimoto is an elegant player that can become a lot better in the future.
