Pedro Vite

Player profile:
- Nationality: Ecuador
- Age: 18
- Date of birth: 09/03/2002
- Current Club: Independiente del Valle
- Position: Attacking midfielder
- Preferred foot: Left
In an attack composed of Leiton, Bravo and Garcia, Pedro Vite occupied a number 10 position in charge of bringing energy and creativity to the attack.
Marco Angulo and Moises Caicedo complete the midfield and gave him more freedom to take charge of creative aspect for the team and push forwards. Available between the lines, he knew how to take advantage of his technical quality to evade pressure and play forwards. His precise left foot allowed him to utilise the speed of the forwards to facilitate attacking transitions.
He has the ability to play forwards with precise passes in different areas of the pitch. However, in more advanced positions, he lacked decision making and a final ball to execute in the final third. His good ball control allows him to keep possession of the ball and open up spaces but he must take advantage of this to play simpler in key areas.
Rating: 2
Pedro Vite used his intelligence and technical skill to accelerate and play to the strengths of this team. He is one of the interesting players in Independiente del Valle which has already stood out during the U17 World Cup. His left foot and his vision are an asset that allow him to create danger in different areas of the pitch. He still has to improve the physical aspect of his game in order to hope to settle permanently with the senior team.

He has good agility and speed allowing him to cover a lot of ground and get around the pitch. Defensively, he gives freedom to his midfield partner and his positioning allows him to win the ball back effectively.
