Rating System Explained – ‘Scouting for …’ Series

All of you are familiar with our current rating system, but for the ‘Scouting for …’ series, there will be a different rating system. I will explain it here.

  • Rating: A = Should be on top of the shortlist. The player would be a great long- or short-term signing.
  • Rating: B = Should be one of the top names on the shortlist. The player would be a good long- or short-term signing.
  • Rating: C = Should be signed if better options are not available. The player would be an adequate long- or short-term signing.
  • Rating: D = Should be signed in emergency situations when no better options are available. The player would not be a good long-term signing and would always be a short-term solution. The player does not have the level for the starting XI.
  • Rating: E = Should not be signed. The player is neither a short-term solution nor an option for the long-term. The player does not have the level for the first-team squad.
