- Name: Samuel Pozo
- Date of birth: 23 March 1997
- Age: 23
- Nationality: Bolivia
- Position: defensive midfielder & central midfielder
Samuel Pozo is a 23-year-old defensive midfielder that plays very intense in the defensive duels. He closes down gaps very quickly and is positive aggressive in the defensive duels. Sometimes he does not get back quickly enough in the transition from attack to defence though. He is a decent tackler.
In possession, the Bolivian midfielder kept aware of his surroundings at all times and he was able to switch the play under pressure. He positioned himself well in the transition from defence to attack to pick up the clearances from the opposition.
Already a decent player at the current level, but he could become a leading player in the Bolivian league and perhaps move to a bigger league in the future.
- Full name: Kevin Salvatierra
- Date of birth: 5 August 2001
- Age: 18
- Nationality: Bolivia
- Position: attacking midfield & central midfield
The 18-year-old midfielder is very creative and able to create chances. He has good spatial awareness and is able to spot a run of a teammate. However, his final pass is not always up to standards. Salvatierra can dribble well, he is very agile and has a decent technique. He occupies the space often, diving into the gaps of the opposition. Especially when Oriente Petrolero played in a 5–3–2 (against Vasco da Gama), he often got the space to do so. Also, with some movements (dropping deep) he creates space for his teammates.
Already showed some signs that he has talent and with more experience he could make a move to a bigger league in the future.
- Full name: Widen Saucedo Candia
- Date of birth: 1 March 1997
- Age: 23
- Place of birth: Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia
- Position: right-back & right wing-back
The Bolivian right-back keeps looking at the ball in the 1-on-1 duels and is aggressive but fair in the duels. Sometimes he pushes up high to put pressure on the oppositions left-back (when Oriente Petrolero play in a 5–3–2). He sometimes gets dribbled past by his opponents in the 1-on-1 duels.
In possession, he does not take any risks when he is put under pressure. He likes to drive forward when possible and is very active in the transition from defence to attack. He has a decent cross as well.
It’s in between B and C for this one, he showed some promising signs at right wing-back but it’s questionable if he will ever make it out of the Bolivian league.
- Full name: Norberto Darío Palmieri
- Date of birth: 23 March 1996
- Age: 24
- Place of birth: Capital Federal, Argentina
- Height: 1,78 m
- Position: central defender, defensive midfielder
I’ve seen the 24-year-old Argentine only play as a centre-back. Palmieri is weak in the 1-on-1 duels, getting dribbled past often. He did not stay aware of his surroundings as well, he sometimes was meters behind the defensive line. In possession, he gave some nice cross passes.
Only seen him play as a central defender and I think that he would suit better as a defensive midfielder.
The players that are not included in this scout report have not played enough minutes in the matches I watched.
