Always Ready had a comfortable 5-0 win against Gran Mamoré on the second matchday in the Bolivian Division Profesional. The hosts set up in a 4-4-2 and had a pretty direct playing style with a lot of shots from distance. Gran Mamoré also set up in a 4-4-2 with a direct playing style. 15-year-old Moises Paniagua had his second appearance for Always Ready after scoring the winner for the Bolivians in his first appearance for them becoming the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Division Profesional.

Denilso Fernandez
- Nationality: Bolivian
- Age: 20
- Date of birth: 06/07/2002
- Club: Gran Mamoré
- Career: Gran Mamoré
- Position: Left-wing
- Preferred foot: Right
Denilso Fernandez started as a left midfielder for Gran Mamoré on the second matchday of the Division Profesional after providing one assist for the Bolivians on the first matchday. The winger stands at around 1.73 meters with an average build. He is not that quick on the first meters and also not capable of upping his speed over long distances. Fernandez lost every race to the ball against Always Ready’s right-back Diego Medina. Denilso Fernandez lost nearly attacking 1v1 because of his lack of speed. Fernandez showed good feints and changes of direction but failed to create seperation and got beat in every duel. The left-winger was most-dangerous when he was close to the opposition’s box.
He preferred to cut inside to his stronger right foot from the left wing and proved why he had scored so many goals in the second tier last season. Fernandez has a very good striking technique and has very good shot power. His shots from distance can make the difference in matches like this where Gran Mamoré does not see much of the ball. Fernandez is not suited to this playing style though, as he is a player who needs to receive the ball in the final third meaning that he does not necessarily need the top speed (at this level!). He would become much more dangerous with his good shooting and crossing ability. His crossing technique looked really good, while his short- and long passing technique also looked good.
Rating – A2
Denilso Fernandez showed some promising signs in this match but his lack of speed will restrict him from playing in European’s top 12 leagues. I am pretty confident that a player like him, a technically strong player with good shooting ability, will become a strong player in the Bolivian league. Depending on his price tag, he might even become an interesting player for the Ecuadorian or Colombian league in a few years.
