Dominik Janosek

  • Nationality: Czech
  • Age: 21
  • Date of birth: 13-06-1998
  • Club: Mladá Boleslav, on loan from FC Viktoria Plzen
  • Career: FC Zbrojovka Brno (Y), 1.FC Slovácko, Viktoria Plzen, 1. FC Slovácko (L), Mladá Boleslav (L)
  • Position: Centre Midfield
  • Preferred foot: Right

Dominik Janosek played as a central midfielder and did not manage to impress. The midfielder, who plays for Mladá Boleslav on loan from Viktoria Plzen, liked to carry the ball but did not do this aggressively. He showed that he has decent passing ability but mainly played it on safe and sideways or backwards. In defence, he often was ball watching while standing still and he was not very agile when his opponent changed directions. He sometimes tried to cut the passing lane in midfield but did not do this properly which was made use of by his opponent very well. Also, in the duels, he did not show that he has enough strength to hold off opponents or to win physical duels.

Rating: B2 / C

I need to rewatch him, but right now I don’t rate him that highly.

Jakub Klima

  • Nationality: Czech
  • Age: 21
  • Date of birth: 28-08-1998
  • Club: Mladá Boleslav
  • Career: Mladá Boleslav, FK Pardubice (L)
  • Position: Centre Back
  • Secondary position: Right Back
  • Preferred foot: Right

Jakub Klima played as a right central defender and his performance was average. He did well to hold off his opponent when a through pass was being played and he showed some decent pace and strength when he did this. However, he was vulnerable with space in his back often because his body stance was not good as he had his both feet towards the oppositions goal which means that he needs to turn before he can start accelerating. The defensive line wrongly used the offside trap which led to the 0-1. On the ball, Klima did not show any confidence and his long pass was mediocre. He avoided using his left foot as well.

Rating – C

Tomas Ladra

  • Nationality: Czech
  • Age: 23
  • Date of birth: 24/04/1997
  • Club: Mladá Boleslav
  • Career: Mladá Boleslav (Y), FK Pardubice (L)
  • Position: Striker
  • Secondary position: Right Wing
  • Preferred foot: Right

Tomas Ladra played as a right winger and had a very quiet game, even though he hit the post on one occasion. The attacker often did not know what he needed to do with the ball when he played in the tight spaces which often led to sloppy passes and possession loss. He occasionally made good runs on the wing and this nearly led to a chance for Mladá Boleslav when he played a very good, powerful cross over the ground towards the striker. However, it was defended well. Also, he nearly scored after making a good run in behind, making a good first touch but eventually not being able to finish the chance. Tomas Ladra did well to track back often though.

Rating – C

I would like to see him play as a striker as I think that this will suit him better.

Marco Tulio

  • Nationality: Brazilian
  • Age: 21
  • Date of birth: 31/05/1998
  • Club: Mladá Boleslav
  • Career: Clube Atlético Mineiro (Y), TuS Bövinghausen, FC Sellier & Bellot Vlasim, Mladá Boleslav
  • Position: Left Back
  • Secondary position: Defensive Midfield
  • Preferred foot: Left

Marco Tulio played as a left-back and even though he did show some promising signs, he did not impress that much. In defence, he was vulnerable playing with space in his back as his starting position was higher up the pitch than the defensive line which was used well by his opponent. He had okay pace and acceleration to come back in the duel. However, his body position in 1v1’s was not that good. He left space open to go both on the outside and the inside and did not react quickly when his opponent changed directions. Tulio is not that agile.

The 0-1 was partly his mistake as he missed the header and left Sevcik open in space to score a header. He liked to follow his opponent when he dropped deeper which left space open on the left side of the pitch. This did not lead to any problems in this match, though. He was not that strong and got pushed off the ball at times. On the ball, his short passes over the ground were accurate. His technique when he played cross passes was alright, but his kicking technique for longer passes over the ground seemed slightly off and this led to some inaccurate passes at times. His crossing was below average, he did not hit the target at all and the crosses were way too high.

Rating – B2

Despite not impressing that much, I can see him improving at Mladá Boleslav and becoming an important player for them once.

Jiri Klima

  • Nationality: Czech
  • Age: 23
  • Date of birth: 01/05/1997
  • Club: Mladá Boleslav
  • Career: FC Vysocina Jihlava (Y), 1.SC Znojmo (L), Mladá Boleslav
  • Position: Striker
  • Preferred foot: Right

Jiri Klima played as a striker and had a very quiet game. He was active in putting pressure on the defensive backline. However, he lost nearly every ground or aerial duel as he was too late often. He did not have many touches on the ball and did not make good runs. On one occasion he got close to getting a chance but he made his run to the near post too early which led to him being defended well by the opponent.

Rating – D

Overall a weak performance by Jiri Klima.
