Carabobo FC hosted Monagas SC and it ended in a boring 0-0 draw. Both teams were very uneasy throughout the game and gave away possession very often. The pitch was bad which made it hard to play quick short passes and a lot of players struggled to control the ball because of the bad conditions. Both teams did not really seem to have a gameplan and seemed to play on intuition.

Williams Pedrozo

- Nationality: Venezuelan
- Date of birth: 28-12-2001
- Age: 18
- Club: Carabobo FC
- Career: Carabobo FC (Y)
- Position: central defender
- Preferred foot: right
Williams Pedrozo played as a right central defender and did not impress that much. Even though he bullied Yorlen Cordero off the ball quite often, he did not seem that smart and physically good in the duels as he struggled against other opponents. Pedrozo got dragged wide often by Cordero’s movement and the central defender seemed to make some wrong decisions in the defensive phase. However, he was quite good in the 1-on-1 duels and seemed quite athletic. Pedrozo was not comfortable on the ball and seemed to panic often when he received the ball, booting it clear without even looking if there was a simpler option nearby.
Rating: C
He did not impress, but I may rewatch him.
José Ferrer

- Nationality: Venezuelan
- Date of birth: 27-06-1997
- Age: 22
- Club: Carabobo FC
- Career: Carabobo FC (Y)
- Position: central midfielder
- Preferred foot: right
José Ferrer played as a left central midfielder in this match and did okay, even though he did not stand out. He liked to carry the ball at times but got pushed off the ball quite easy, not showing good balance at all. His strength in the duels seemed alright as he won quite some physical duels. Ferrer has a decent technique and was able to make short, quick turns away from his opponent. He was very skilful on the ball and had a decent burst of speed on the ball. Also, he did well in defence, intercepting the ball at times.
Rating: B1
Did alright, but I don’t think he could play at a higher level at this moment. However, I will need to rewatch him.
Carlos Ramos

- Nationality: Venezuelan
- Date of birth: 26-05-1999
- Age: 21
- Club: Carabobo FC
- Career: Carabobo FC (Y)
- Position: defensive midfielder
- Preferred foot: right
Carlos Ramos played as a right central midfielder in this match and really struggled to deal with the bad conditions of the pitch. He showed some very bad touches and lost possession often because of this. His passing ability was average at best. He mostly played on safe and did not really do much to progress the ball. However, he liked to drift wide in possession and made some good runs in behind when the left-back of Monagas tracked the right winger of Carabobo.
Rating: C
There is not too much to say about Carlos Ramos, I will need to rewatch him in a different match to give a better opinion about him. But my first thoughts on the player is that he did not do well in this match and that he is not a strong squad player.
