Brajan Gruda stands at 1.78 meters with an average build. Having a good frame for a winger, Gruda displays good strength in shoulder-to-shoulder duels, often maintaining his balance and being able to hold off opponents. He also holds his own in physical duels with his back towards the goal. Brajan Gruda is persistent and aggressive in defensive duels, although this can lead to Gruda giving away free-kicks. Gruda has a good burst of speed and displays good speed over longer distances.
The German player offers a lot of versatility in possession. Gruda can play in central zones but he can also play close to the touchline and in the right half-space. Brajan Gruda is a technically strong player. He is very smart in tight spaces, often finding smart solutions under pressure. The youngster finds teammates in dangerous zones with smart passes between tight spaces. Brajan Gruda is very clean on the ball, only sporadically having a sloppy touch or pass. He seemingly understands the game well, knowing where his teammates and opponents are and being creative on the ball.

He has good dribbling ability, is smart and strong on the ball, displays above average vision, has a nice kicking technique and plays with a lot of drive. Brajan Gruda seems to be a determined player. He could potentially be the ideal replacement for Johan Bakayoko at PSV but is already ready to be a squad player for clubs such as Borussia Dortmund.
