Oskar Siira Sivertsen is a 20 year old Norwegian winger who currently plays for Kristiansund in Norway. Sivertsen made his first team debut in the past year however, spent some time away on loan to gain first team experience at lower league side Hødd, also in Norway.

Physically, standing at 177cm, Sivertsen is a short winger who is quick over short and long distances and has a decent burst of acceleration. He is particularly good at switching direction and does like to skip past his opponent due to his good balance and footwork. Sivertsen is someone who likes to press the opposition and also track back for the team, displaying his good stamina on the field.

Sivertsen is a traditional winger in many ways in terms of his technical abilities such as providing decent crosses into the box, taking on his opposition in a 1v1 and has great dribbling ability. He is also the primary set piece taker for the team and floats in the ball with good whip and pace into the danger area for the team. Sivertsen also possesses a great first touch, which can set him away on an attack for the team and constantly has the opposition player who is assigned to him on his toes to react.

Tactically, the winger provides the width and drags out his opposition full back which creates more 1v1 situations as well as creating space for his team mates. Sivertsen demonstrates good tactical awareness in terms of his defensive positioning to double up on the opposition winger when they are on the attack but also getting into spaces on the pitch where he can utilise his pace to get him away from the opposition. He does come short for the ball and can play a simple pass however, this can often be in close range of his central midfield colleagues which can cause an overload, so it is best he sticks out in the wing where he causes the most danger versus coming inside to constantly get involved with the play.

Sivertsen is someone who works hard for the team and takes it upon himself to engineer attacking moves. He generally is good at his decision making however, as mentioned previously he just needs to develop the mindset of not always having to be involved and being patient and then pouncing on the opposition when required.

Overall, Sivertsen has all the attributes to become a solid right winger for the future. I think the natural next step would be a move to one of the top 3 in Norway to test his abilities and develop with a club that can take him to the next level. Once he gets more of the spotlight in a bigger arena, then providing all goes well, he could have a future at a bigger club within Europe for sure. He would be ideal for a club that tactically is a high pressing team and a team who have a poacher where Sivertsen can be a great provider for.
